MarketMoodIQ combines several social-market metrics into the dashboards on this site. Click any term below for a deeper explainer — what it measures, how to read it, and where it commonly gets misread.
- Acceleration Scorerange: −5 to +5 typical, unbounded in theory
- The second derivative of narrative heat — the rate of change of momentum itself.
- Confidence Score (Stablecoin)range: 0–100
- A 0–100 composite of peg stability, negative sentiment share, and depeg-related chatter for a stablecoin.
- Heat Scorerange: 0–100
- A narrative-level 0–100 composite of social volume, engagement, asset participation, and sentiment.
- Momentum Scorerange: 0–100, with 50 as steady state
- A narrative-level 0–100 measure of how quickly heat is building or fading.
- Mood Scorerange: 0–100
- A 0–100 composite of sentiment, social velocity, engagement quality, creator growth, and abnormality risk.
- Peg Deviationrange: 0.0 (perfect peg) to 1.0 (full collapse); usually < 0.005
- How far a stablecoin’s price is from its $1.00 target, expressed as a fraction.
- Sentimentrange: −100 to +100
- The average tonality of social posts mentioning an asset, scored from −100 (extremely bearish) to +100 (extremely bullish).
- Sentiment Velocityrange: −200 to +200, usually within ±50
- How much an asset’s sentiment has changed versus its 7-day baseline.
- Social Velocityrange: 0.0 to 10.0+, with 1.0 = normal
- The ratio of an asset’s current social volume to its 7-day moving baseline.
- Social Volumerange: 0 to millions
- The raw count of social posts mentioning an asset over a snapshot interval.
